CAMEROON VICTORIOUS AGAINST MOZAMBIQUE IN WORLD CUP QUALIFYING TIE
Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo Moting scored a brace as Cameroon beat the Mozambican national football team on Friday night in a World Cup qualifying match up 3-0.
Mozambique, who are now bottom of Group D, have now gone three games without a victory thanks to goals from Karl Ekambi and Eric Moting.
The hosts took the lead in the 29th minute via Moting, who added a second in the 51st and a third through Ekambi 13 minutes later to make it 3-0.
After Danilo Muze was sent off late in the game, Mozambique was down to 10 men. The game's consolation goal was scored by Geny Catamo.
As a result, the Indomitable Lions hold a one-point advantage over Ivory Coast after three games.
Malawi, the third-placed team, lost 3-0 to Ivory Coast on Friday at Johannesburg's Orlando Stadium.
